I have had it with this car and this problem. It is the only major problem I've ever had with this car, but it is driving me CRAZY. It needs a part (Starter Trigger Wire) which Hyundai says they do not have and cannot get. Who ever heard of anything so crazy? The dealer has done over $1,000 worth of unnecessary work in addition to almost $1,000 for real 3rd party mechanics to do real repairs on it. Now it's in the shop again. For the same problem... Loose Starter Trigger Wire. I'm going to see if my mechanic can solder the wire onto the solenoid and if the starter ever needs to be replaced again, just cut the wire and solder another one onto the new terminal. That's the only way I know to fix it for GOOD!
