I was in a accident with my 2007 sport sonata. 3.3liter V6. I was at a dead stop at red light and a auto going 35 to 45 mph rear ended my car and pushed my car into car before me. the impact caused my car motor mount to explode and radiator to push into grill this also bent frame from high impact. I was saved by my seat belts and caused multiple injury to me . lucky i did not have broken neck. just whiplash and multiple bruises from the seatbelt holding me in seat. Air bags did not deploy!!!! hospital bills and physical therapy but have survived . I will have hyundai investigate to see why these bags did not deploy.

I was in an accident with my 2007 Sonata which occurred when a vehicle was stopped in front of me. A SUV came up behind me going about 40 MPH and ran into the back of my Vehicle. Therefore I ran into the vehicle in front of me as the car behind me pushed me into it him. My back end was damaged, as well as my front end, may I add badly damaged. The problem is that my airbags did not go off, not even one of them. I would surely expect a properly working airbag to deploy in a situation like this, but in the sonata it did not. I am praying that the insurance company will total this vehicle out as I do not want a vehicle with airbags that do not work. In conclusion I will not be buying a sonata in the near future.
