I love the car peppiness and its a quiet V6, I do regular maintenance and had it since 2018. I bought it at 141k miles and now its ~162k miles. The brake issue is awful. The brake lines rusted last week and suddenly I had no brakes, there was no warning light on the dash. So please all owners get your brake lines inspected once a year always, you never know it could have been fatal. I was lucky I noticed it at a parking lot and AAA towed my car to the mechanic shop, it could have been catastrophic.
Rusted brake lines causing the loss of all brake fluid. Thank Jesus I noticed this brake fluid on the driveway. This is my wife's car. Could have caused her to get in an accident. The thing is there was no warning light displayed on the dash indicating a brake problem. This could have been a fatal situation. I'm reporting this to warn people to have their brake lines checked for rust, because you will not have any warning.
My Dad and I where bleeding the brakes on our car. everything was going well until we found out our brake lines where rusted out and brake fluid was pouring all over the ground. have anyone else had this problem with there 2006 hyundai sonata?
