My car alarm would go off at any time of the day or night and I'd have to run out of work or my home and open and shut the doors. I finally came to the conclusion that the door sensors were not being pressed down all the way. I had some of the sticky pad stuff, so i peeled off about an inch worth of the stuff and stuck them on top of each other so the sensor could have something pressing against it completely. It was super annoying, and now I have a home made patch job. If those sticky things ever fall off, the problem will be right back where I started.
