The contact owns a 2004 Hyundai Sonata. While driving 15 mph, the rearview mirror fell off the windshield. The dealer stated that the windshield delaminated, which meant that the glass was no longer able to hold the mirror in place. The insurance company had to replace the entire windshield. The contact believes there is a defect in the windshield because the vehicle was hardly in any heat and no objects struck the windshield. The current and failure mileages were 115,000. Updated 07/10/09. The windshield was replaced on June 25, 2009. Updated 07/10/09.
