It started with our reverse lights. Fuses, wires, and light bulbs all checked and replaced still didn't work. Then our airbag light come on. No big deal with that. Next our check engine light came on and our headlights went out. Took it to a mechanic he tried replacing our headlights and the car was getting too much electricity, it was blowing our new bulbs out.
After spending $300 replacing wires and other parts the mechanic said it would be an additional $500 to go through out the car to find the electrical problem to get the check engine light to go out because we have replaced everything with new parts. He (the mechanic) said that might not even fix the problems and he didn't think it was worth it. We haven't even had the car a year and bought it for $3600 from a private owner. We have dropped almost 3k into it already just to find out we have to find a new car by the end of the month cause it won't pass safety and emissions without the check engine light off and headlights working. We will have had it a year next month Aug 2014.
