Bought the car april 06 used with 120,000 miles on it. Test drove, it ran nice. Great pick up and smooth shifting. Had it less than 2 weeks and the transmission started slipping. Only happens going up a hill and shifting to 3rd gear. Have to totally take foot off gas, let the engine slow down and it will change. Checked the trans fluid, it was fine, nice red color, not burnt/black.
Called 2 local trans shops and they said nothing to worry about unless it doesn't actually shift. Seems weird to me. Any ideas? Been doing it ever since. Doesn't "use" tranny fluid, I keep checking it.
