The contact owns a 2000 Hyundai Sonata. While driving at any speed, the check engine light illuminates on the instrument panel and the vehicle suddenly shuts off. The failure occurs intermittently and the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The current and failure mileages were 73,899. Updated 10/14/08 the oxygen sensor was replaced.
