The contact owns a 1999 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle has Firestone P195 tires. While driving 65 mph, the front end of the vehicle began to shake. The contact decelerated and then heard a loud bang. The vehicle became very difficult to control. She pulled to the side of the road and called Hyundai roadside assistance. The vehicle was going to be towed to the dealer; however, it was Sunday and they were closed. The vehicle was towed to pep-boys instead and they replaced the tire. The mechanic stated that both front tires needed to be replaced. The failure and current mileages were 103,000. Updated 09/15/08 updated 09/24/08.
