For a vehicle that has been rarely driven in the snow (although, I do reside in NY), I find it unacceptable that this part should fail on vehicle with only 40K on the clock. During this time of everything being difficult and expensive to acquire, I was forced to purchase complete strut assemblies at a cost of $1300.00, as the springs alone were not available. I see that Hyundai has had the same problem with other vehicles and issued recall on them but, not my particular vehicle. I have enjoyed this vehicle to this point but, it seems to have a constant stream of recalls that are becoming highly annoying. Not sure I will buy another Hyundai in the future.
