Was notified of a recall on 2013 Santa Fe Sport in September 2023. This recall was first issued on several models at least two years ago.
Why is it taking so long to solve this?
Manufacturer's suggestion to park outside is not possible. Our gated community has narrow streets and no parking outside is permitted after 10:00pm. Our driveways are very short, so no place to park except in garage.
Only possible solution is to park a good distance away in back lot of country club. At 86 years of age, with a bad knee, arthritis, and other age related difficulties this is not a feasible solution. I repeat, WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG TO FIND A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM?
