I purchased 2020 Santa Fe AWD three weeks ago, and I started to feel something was not right. It hesitated when I started from the stops. It happened a few times a day. I felt that the engine may die. The transmission may not smoothly shift from stop to start. I don't know what the problems are.
On the highway, RPMs go up in very shallow hills. My previous Kia Optima wasn't like that, although they share same type of engine. I haven't reported these issues to the dealer yet. However, I can predict that I would report to the dealer soon or later.
I read a lot of same complains from older Santa Fe and other Hyundai models, and even Kia Sorento. What's wrong with Hyundai?!?!
