My auto braking system will become disabled in dry conditions, it will stop working for around 5 minutes and then it will start working again.
I’ve taken it to the dealership 3 times during the past 3 years. They were unable to find any error codes or duplicate the issue when they test drive it. As this happens periodically, which is occurring more frequently now, they have not been able to duplicate the problem nor find a similar one in their database.
I believe this is something electrical and related to the other issues I have with intermittent malfunctioning of my ac unit, my interactive cruise control and my auto braking system becoming disabled.
I’ve contacted Hyundai customer support twice and have not been contacted, first time they had wrong information, Í provided the correct information. I told them I believe I have a lemon and they were going to elevate it to a national team to pursue.
This is the second Santa Fe that I purchased, I will be buying a different brand in the future, based on these annoying issues and inability of Hyundai to resolve them.
