Went to start the vehicle, and it just made a clicking noise. After several attempts, a message came up in the information display saying "turn on fuse switch" Found the fused switch and it was on...tried to turn off and then on again, but the engine would still not turn over.
Called Hyundai roadside assistance (operator had no knowledge of the vehicle at all, all he could do was call a tow truck)
Tow operator came, popped the hood, hooked up his booster and engine started.
I asked him how long i should leave it running for before the battery would recharge (assuming it was a dead battery) he stated that it wasn't the battery, just a 'glitch' he had seen sometimes in these models. Somehow by attaching the booster it reset the computer system. I questioned this as strange, but he assured me it was the case. While he was still there, (after the vehicle had only been running for 30 seconds ) it turned it off, and attempted to start it again. Low and behold it started immediately. Its been 4 days and the vehicle has started immediately each time since
Does anyone have any insight on this ???
