I have my 2nd 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and it has the same problem as the 1st one with the gas gauge moving up and down and than eventually down to empty after I have filled it up - and I know that there is gas in my car! The battery light then pops on with it. I had this happen in my 1st Santa Fe 2008 and got it fixed for an unGodly amount! It is so unsafe and with gas prices at an all time high its extremely infuriating!! I reset my trip every time I put gas in but I can't afford to fill it up every time!!
I saw on Amazon you can buy the sensor for pretty inexpensive but you need to have a mechanic put it in and the labor alone is going to cost so much!!! I saw this was last posted in 2020 and its 2022 so Hyundai should have a had a warning or recall, or so I thought, by now! But NOPE!! I am paycheck to paycheck because I just started a new job and school so there's not an extra cent to waste. So annoying and extremely dangerous!
