I was on the 405 on my way home from work. Luckily it was around 11 pm, and the car would not go pass 20 mph. This continued for the 17 miles I had to drive home, no check engine light came on. This was so frightening, I brought a new car to feel safe on the roads - this was the worst experience I have had with any car in the past.
