During the daytime, you cannot see any of the graphics on the steering wheel switches. How am I supposed to know what button does what? How am I supposed to control the cruise control settings if I am pushing the wrong buttons. At night they are illuminated so I can see them better, but during the day the graphics are basically invisible. I'm thinking this is only an issue on the Calligraphy Night trim levels. This has been an issues since we picked up the vehicle.
The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the Forward Collision Avoidance system erroneously activated causing the vehicle to abruptly stop. During the failure there were no other vehicles or objects nearby. Additionally, while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would not properly accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. In addition, while making left turns there was a popping sound coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed and determined that the front differential was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 250.

The contact stated that while his wife was pulling out of a parking lot, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle independently accelerated forward and then came to a complete stop seconds later. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 700.
