After about 10000 miles, started to notice a thumping sound then it got progressively worse. The ride started to get rougher and thumps all the time. Dealer verified rear shocks bad and ordered new set. Now at 14000 miles and shocks still on back order. Was told that this is happening all the time and that the replacement shocks are the same as what came on the vehicle. This does not solve the problem.Soon handling will suffer.
Loud clanking/banging/creaking noise coming from rear of vehicle. Both rear shock absorbers replaced and strut insulators replaced at 4988 miles! Back at 37700 for the same issue. I was told by the service tech that the strut mounts needed to be replaced. This seems to be a going problem with Hyundai! Please look into
Rear struts need to be replaced and vehicle only has 17,200 miles. Seems like a shoddy made vehicle with who knows what other structural problems. I do not trust this vehicle and feel afraid to drive it.
