When powering off the car, the brakes are automatically applied. When powering on the car and shifting to Drive/Reverse, the brakes are automatically release. Intermittently the brakes do not release properly so when you start to move, the brakes make a loud clunk as they release. The dealer has had the car a few times with no resolution. The did do a brake recall but that did not fix the issue. It seems to occur much more in cold weather. Has any other IONIQ EV drivers had the same issues? Other that that, I totally love the car!!!
