I live in Brantford, Ontario. A month ago I became a victim of new vehicle failure. I like the word BRICKED. Turned on the vehicle and a warning came up to check electrical system. After a few seconds the warning cleared. Turned the knob to drive and nothing happened. Turned to reverse and it went into neutral. After a couple of attempts I called the dealership and had it towed in. Dealership unable to diagnosis the issue after 3 weeks. They have told me its covered by the warranty. I have also been told that a special technician from Hyundai Canada will have to diagnose the issue and present the solution. No loaner. No coverage for a rental until after the resolution. Warranty states $50 a day maximum. $500.00 a week rental for a standard SUV so far for 4 weeks. I paid $80000 for a brick. I hope Albert Beirmann is proud of his brick. Today I have seen that my car has been dumped to the back of the dealership. I mean far back. This proves so far that Hyundai Canada doesn't stand behind their product. Maybe they're not standing. Just dragging their feet.
