Purchased a FULLY LOADED 2016 Genesis in February 2016 - every possible feature, every possible luxury add on, prepaid 48 months lease service and maintenance package, purchased all three packages of BlueLink. Was told that the BlueLink was "automatically" updated with the latest and greatest of downloads and updates including maps, navigation, communications, etc. only to find out that my FULLY LOADED package was not compatible with downloads and updates. I receive e-mails stating there were updates available and the dealer lied to me and said that my vehicle "automatically downloaded" and I didn't have to do a thing! Why wouldn't I believe that since the car is so fully automated with everything I could have possibly had included in the car's first lease. Come to find out, last week, I received an e-mail from Hyundai BlueLink that the update for my Android phone is not compatible with my Vin#, can't be updated and can't receive "downloads". There isn't a fix and they apologized for sending the e-mail to me by mistake. Offered me 6 more months of the three BlueLink packages I had already paid for the 48 month lease (does me no good!) The dealer, Palm Springs Hyundai, are deceitful and out and out lied about my car having the ability to update on its own. Now I have a car for 4 years lease and can't update nor download the features that were promised when I got the car new. I am looking for a class action suit that I might be included if anyone knows about any!
