UPON STOPPING AT SKY HARBOR AIRPORT IN PHOENIX I NOTICED THE CAR DID NOT WANT TO STOP. BUT IT DID AS I PRESSED VERY HARD ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. I THEN SHIFTED INTO PARK AND THE ENGINE REVVED VERY HIGH, BUT I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS MY CAR REVVING UNTIL MY WIFE WENT TO THE BACK OF THE CAR AND YELLED IT WAS OUR CAR THAT WAS REVVING SO HIGH. I THOUGHT IT WAS A BUS IN FRONT OF US. I LOOKED AT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER JUST AS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALONG WITH SOME WARNING LIGHTS AND I HIT THE STOP BUTTON. THE ENGINE SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED NORMAL A FEW MINUTES LATER. SO FAR IT HAS NOT REPEATED AND THE DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM.
