I was sold this 2014 Hyundai for my trade of my 2013 Hyundai. The 2013 had a really bad transmission problem that got worse and was finally able to get out of it after several complaints with the corporate office. But that's a whole another story. Now this 2014 Genesis was stressed to me by the salesperson at this car was a better car and newer, not knowing that I later found out that this car had a salvage title. The salesperson told me that it was just a buyback and the problems have been fixed they were minor issues. The car drove okay for the first couple of weeks but then noticed some of the same issues like the 2013. I then called Hyundai corporate office looking to buy back this car and they gave me a hard time and I spoke to a supervisor and they said that they had no reason to buy it back. I just now noticed that the car has a mildew smell after it rains. I believe that there is a water leak but don't know where it is coming from. I am going to take these issues further and I will later follow up with my outcome of my situation. Lastly, I would advised that no one should buy any of the Genesis, I even heard from someone else that owned a 2016 Genesis, engine blew on him, enough said.
