When accelerating, transmission will violently shift from 2-3 and occasionally shift hard from 4-5 as well, typically after some driving. Once in a while it will actually slip while trying to upshift gears in the gear ranges described. This is scary as the car could seize acceleration at any time and could cause a traffic problem or accident that could potentially be fatal.
From other reports this seems to be a commonality in these transmissions and Hyundai needs to step up and take care of this issue by issuing a recall and replacing all of these transmissions or redesign them to function properly. My car should NOT be having issues with the transmission at 32k miles. That is just ridiculous. This car is 7 years old and barely driven, it should be running perfectly.
