2012 Hyundai Genesis sedan 3.8: series of anomalies in lighting:
With lighting switch in AUTO (and during daylight hours) … activated left turn signal …left blinker worked but left low beam headlight went out. Tried Right Turn and same happened. When turn signals deactivated headlight came on. NOTE! When left turn signal and high beam activated SIMULTANEOUSLY low beam stayed on while turn signal was blinking. Completed turn, turn signal went to “off†and headlight came on.
Other online complaints relate no satisfaction/resolution from Hyundai. Now have a vehicle we feel unsafe to drive after dark.
ANYONE GOT ANSWERS?
Update from Sep 28, 2016: 28SEP2016: Before I go to trouble of driving several miles to the dealer can anyone tell me what is the "normal headlight operation", i.e., is it normal ops for the headlight to go out when turn signal is activated and back on when the turn signal goes off? If not, there are earlier cites of the same problem and I'd like to know how the problem was "fixed." Today, parked in home garage, start car headlight come on . In both P and D activate turn signal and lights STAY ON. Again...what's "normal" ops??
