2012 Hyundai Genesis. Consumer writes in regards to defective unibody the consumer stated she heard a squeaking noise coming from the side of the vehicle when driving on side roads at 5- 30 mph. The dealer stated the cause was from poor welding on the unibody brace of the vehicle. The dealer was not able to repair the vehicle, nor had they ever seen such a robotic weld defect on any other vehicle they serviced before. Therefore, they had to send the vehicle to a body shop, to drill out and re-seal the body seam and re-finish it.
