This vehicle is showing signs that the electrical systems are becoming unreliable with only 50,000 miles on the car. The "auto up and down" function of the power windows began flaking out on me from time to time. Then some mornings the power windows would not work at all. Sometimes I could get it working by toggling the power locks, other times I had to shut the engine off and restart before they would work.
Lately the headlights will turn off when the turn signal self cancels after a turning movement. The A/C is beginning to get weird because it shows the air conditioner is not on, but the air coming out of the vents is obviously much colder than the outside air. I turn the air on and then off again, and then the air coming out of the vents begins to warm up. The dash indicates the A/C is off in both instances. Another posting on this site mentioned the display on the radio freezing up, that was the first thing that went wrong with my car, and the radio was replaced which fixed that problem. The dealer has been very good responding up to this time. Lately he is showing more reluctance addressing my concerns.....and I am thinking of buying a Toyota for the reliability that I have had in the past with the Toyota brand.
