We noticed the front right side of the vehicle was almost resting on the tire. Had a mechanic take a look at it and the front drivers side spring was dropped down. Found a recall for Hyundai Santa Fe amd sonata with exact same problem. Hyundai refused to acknowledge problem could also be in the Entourage.

We noticed a loud thumping noise coming from drivers side tire area, when we took it to the dealer they told us the left sway bar endlink and inner tie rod needed to be replaced and the car was out of warranty so we would have to pay for it. I told them that I thought that the car had to few of miles for something like that to go wrong to which they replied "welcome to the world Hyundai they use cheap plastic parts", needless to say I was upset. I have since taken the car to Firestone and they said the repair could run over a $1,000 which I do not have. I have gone on line and found many complaints about this same issue. I feel that this is a definite safety issue and should be looked into before someone gets hurt or killed due to the problem, that is if they have not already done so.

Driving a 2007 Hyundai Entourage van on the morning of December 30, 2011 we came to a stop for a red light. My foot was still on the brake pedal when two seconds later we were reared ended by another vehicle that was traveling at approximately 45-50 mph. My spouse and I experienced severe whiplash. The driver of the vehicle that crashed into us claimed she never saw our stop lights. After the incident, I discovered there were two recalls for our van (06V356000 & 09V122000) related to intermittent brake light switches. We purchased the Entourage in 2009, but never was told or notified of either recall. Although the other driver was a fault, I believe that she may have been telling the truth about not seeing the brake lights. There are other recalls on the 2007 Hyundai Entourage since then (13V113000 and 13V556000) but we received a notice of either. I plan to submit a separate complaint regarding the other recalls issues. What worries me is that were are not told about or receive recall notices or defective part issues. I'm guessing that NHTSA/ODI would receive more complaints, but people are not aware of the shady non-disclosure practices of dealerships. There are other issues that I haven't submitted, but will talk with you about if you so desire.

In April 2013, our Entourage was serviced to repair the front stabilizers that were causing the vehicle to shimmy at high speeds. I took the vehicle back again today (May 22, 2014) because the same part is causing the same problem. I am convinced this is related to recall 13V556000 suspension Nov 06, 2013. They refused to look at my vehicle unless I agreed to a $95 fee. After complaining to a manager about it, he agreed to inspect the vehicle at no charge. I was asked to wait while they looked at the vehicle. Ten minutes later, the service advisor came into the waiting room and said they didn't have enough mechanics today to look at the vehicle in a timely manner. I was asked to bring the Entourage back at a later date when I could leave the vehicle there because the vehicle had a few recalls for non-suspension and non-safety related issues. When I asked him what the recalls were for he just said it was for a heater core and a few other non-safety issues. Not once was the above suspension recall mentioned or eluded to. I have received a number of letters from the dealer stating they would give me a great trade-in deal on the Entourage van because it was a highly sought after vehicle. I now believe there are ulterior motives for wanting me to trade-in the van. They don't want to deal with all the recall and technical issues related to the Entourage. What worries me is that were are not told about or receive recall notices or defective part issues. NHTSA/ODI would probably receive more complaints, but people probably aren't aware of the shady non-disclosure practices of dealerships. I have also submitted a separate complaint about other recalls for which we never received notice and may have been responsible for a crash back in December of 2011. There are more issues on this vehicle that I haven't submitted a complaint for, but will talk with you about if you so desire.

The contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Entourage. While driving 55 mph and getting off an exit ramp, the vehicle suddenly accelerated, pulled to the left and became out of control. I bought a used 2007 Hyundai Entourage in July 2009. When we test drove it, there was no highway to take it on and it seemed ok on local road. There was a slight shimmy but we were told it was just from it sitting on lot. After purchase, when we took it on the parkway, we noticed a strong vibration in steering wheel at highway speeds. Had front and back brakes and rotors replaced, and tires balanced as well - all non warranty repairs. The problem still exists and is occurring while going down steep hills as well. I am very nervous driving this car and will not take it on the highway not knowing what is wrong with it.

New vehicle with front end vibration/shimmy..extremely unsafe to drive above 70 mph, the entire steering wheel shakes. All contents and passengers in minivan vibrate or shake. Brought to dealership 2 times. Total of 12 days. The 1st 4 days they changed tires and re-aligned all 4 tires. Drove vehiclle back 3 days later. They kept the car for 8 days and changed axle with a used vehicle with over 5000 miles on it, hoping that the axle was the problem. Drove for 10 minutes, still vibrates entire vehicle from 10 mph and higher. Test drove brand new 0 miles...went 30 miles and it also vibrates/shimmy.
