right side back sliding door stopped opening
I have been having strange electrical issues with lights/signals not working/locks not working and then suddenly the right sliding door stopped opening using the button overhead. I took the van in for repair for signals not working and he found the wiring harness had fallen down and dragging on the road causing shortness. He repaired the wiring and the lights and signals are working better but the door has never regain opening again. You can hear that it is trying to open, I have no children and its not used often. After reading other complaints about the sliding doors, I have come to the conclusion I cannot afford $600 to have the door repaired. I can manually open the door at times, other times I cannot. Its scary to think one of my grandkids could be in the back and I cannot get them out if I needed to. I believe this vehicle is a lemon with all of the problems going on with the electrical system. Seems the more crap they put on cars the more chance you will have recalls or failure to operate correctly. Prefer the old days with simply ass function.
