I purchased a 2024 Elantra Hyundai on 7/14/24. It had 3,278 miles on it. Shortly after the purchase the "take a break" alarm with bells would come on roughly every 20 miles. I called Spradley Chevrolet and they told me to stop in and they would look at it. I ended up stopping by there on 5 different occasions for the same problem.
The first 3 times a salesman looked at it and said there was nothing they could do about it. The next time an
authorized Hyundai tech said he couldn't turn it off or fix it. The last stop there was when I had the car serviced and was told again this was not something that Hyundai has a solution for. We kept a record on 11/24/24 at 5,777 miles at 2:30 p.m. to 5,834 at 3:29 p.m. the alarm came on 14 times. From the beginning of this problem until 12/21/24 I have never heard so many "pass the buck" tactics in my life by Spradley Chevrolet 2146 Hwy. 50 Pueblo,, CO 81008 and Hyundai American Motor Company. My case # is 24181269. Neither party took "grab the bull by the horns" attitude to accomplish anything. I can honestly say there was more effort by the 2
companies to avoid the problem than trying to fix it.
