Some 2022 Elantra (CN7) vehicles may exhibit one or both of the following conditions:
â?¢ When driving and the vehicle blind spot collision warning alert sound is on; upon reduction of speed below 10 mph, the warning sound does not turn off.
â?¢ When backing up/moving in reverse and the rear cross traffic collision audible warning sound is on; upon changing the transmission into Drive, the warning sound does not turn off.
This bulletin provides the service procedure to update the left and right BCA (Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist) modules software to resolve the condition(s) stated above.
