Went to get into car and as I approached, it let out a long beep tone and the keyfob controls did not work and I could not get into car. Waited two hours and then the car responded to keyfob and started. Called Blue Link from the car and after being on hold for 24 mins, was told nothing they could do and dealer (Herb Chambers) would not take the car until 3 days later! So I asked why they couldn't take the car at least to leave at the dealership before shutting it off as I didn't want to shut off again and once again, have a no start situation.
I even called the dealership and was told No they would not take the car until after the weekend and they would call first thing Monday morning to see if car needed to be towed or if I could start it and drive there. Great customer service for someone who just took delivery February 26,2021 - Not! So now it's 11 am and still no call back. I hardly call 11 a m first thing in the morning. So now I have to put a call into Hyundai Customer Service to see what they want to do with this car as I can't even think about using it knowing I might be stranded again.
(As an added note, this car has been back to the dealership numerous times for other issues also. Had 3 Sonatas, no major issues, this is the first and last Elantra! )
