Check engine light came on after a cold start on a cold day (~40F). Code reads P0303, cylinder 3 misfire. Engine now misfires every cold start, even on warm days. Swapping spark plugs, coil packs, and fuel injectors all had no effect, so I'm left with some pretty big possible problems. Vacuum leak? Faulty wire going to the coil pack? Worn/burnt piston?
Continued misfires could destroy the engine or catalytic converter. With only 14k miles and more than regular servicing/oil changes this really shouldn't be an issue. Waiting to setup an appointment with the local dealership who SHOULD do the repair under warranty.
