While driving my 2017 yesterday (7/15/18) it suddenly made a strange noise and geared down to less than 10mph from 35 mph. It continued to make a grinding noise and would not increase speed despite depressing the accelerator to the floor. It almost acted like it was in neutral. Since I was in a main roadway, I had to continue to the nearest parking lot where I shut the car off. I restarted it a few minutes later and it ran well enough to get home (about 5 miles). I called the Hyundai dealership first thing this AM and they were less than sympathetic, stating there was nothing they could do to determine the problem! WTH???
