A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I am the type of Person who just doesn't care about cars, I have a two Daughters and a son that need constant attention and often at times cannot be bothered with car maintenance. I normally take it to my dealership and they Informed me that When they were preforming an oil change that their was little to no oil on the dipstick when they pulled it out. I asked why and they told me that the engine in the POS that I bought was notorious for burning oil. They offered to do a consumption test to see how much it was burning and when i brought it back they stated that it burned about a quart every 2,000 Miles.

I already have a lien on it and my daughter got into an accident recently so I had to purchase a new car for her, I cant afford to replace an engine, I'm on a fixed income with No job and cannot afford to replace another car. When I asked the dealership what I should do they stated the only thing that they could do was to replace the engine. They stated that the new one would probably burn oil as well.

Thanks Hyundai, Now I have an oil Burning POS that I cannot get rid of because the bank still owns it. Its not the prettiest thing, it is smashed in on the passenger side door and it has not been washed in about two years. Guess I will pray for a miracle and hope the engine doesn't go kaput or otherwise I don't know what I will do.

Thanks POS Hyundai

My husband and I bought this car with only 12 miles on it. We have been putting in at least 2 quarts of oil in our car every couple of days. Our mechanic has looked at the car and not been able to figure it out. We have had so many issues with this car. I will never purchase another Hyundai!!!

Elantra ES 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 93,000 miles

My 2017 Hyundai Elantra has been consuming a rapid amount of oil, around 2 quarts every 1,000 miles or 3 weeks of driving for me. The check oil light never comes on, I either have to check it myself or notice that my car is overheating from the lack of oil. Multiple mechanics have told me how it is not normal and I believe Hyundai knows that Elantras should also be added to the lawsuit and are not saying anything. I can't even properly use my car due to this ridiculous amount of oil consumption.

Elantra ECO 1.4L Gdi

My Elantra takes a quart of oil every 500 miles and I have to regularly check this every 200-300 miles to be sure I am not going to kill the engine.
