Dealership said tough luck, and Continental said the same. I don't remember hitting anything with these low profile tires, and the rim shows no damage. I knew the dealership would give me a hard time about this, but they have a history of ripping me off by adding a warranty on my car without my permission, $2000. I see that I'm not the only one with sidewall bubbles. I can see why the dealership and the tire manufacturer may wish to deny a factory recall, $$$! I have already made it clear to the RT 44 Hyundai dealership what I think of their business practices, as they show no remorse about the $2000 they stole from me. Now the tire issue. Would you think that I expected anything less from a thief? I also thought Continental was a very good company? I will see how good when I punch in the serial numbers of the tire that bubbled up. Maybe it's time to buy GOODYEAR or another American brand instead of a foreign brand? Not a bad idea, but I have found that when times are tough, more of the rats show their faces if it comes to saving money!
