I bought the car with 76,000 miles on it from a dealership with no warranty and it started slipping at 82,000. I continued to drive it and the dealership said that they could flush the transmission but the fluid burnt and was not changed @ 60k. So the warranty was void and I had to replace the transmission at 101,000, it was finally slipping so bad I could no longer drive it. The dealership recommended of fuel flush and ignition coil to be changed as well as the fuel injector this did not fix the stalling issue the dealership I would imagine knew that the engine was bad so I needed a transmission and an engine that was not under warranty.
I'm very upset - I will never buy a Hyundai again stay away from this car it could’ve been the owners maybe they didn’t change the oil. I don’t know but I had transmission issues with my 2010 Hyundai Elantra - no, of course they didn’t change the fluid either, so it might be owner neglect, I don’t know. But I have a Toyota Corolla with 280,000 miles. My roommate didn’t change the oil on time or the transmission fluid and it never blew up it has the original motor and transmission and runs great. I did do a flush on it finally.
