I purchased this car in November 2015. It had 36,000 miles on it and was a lease return. It had brand new tires on it (installed by the dealer). Those tires had to be replaced in July of 2016 and my car had only 50,200 miles on it. I installed Nexen n5000 with a 65,000 mile warranty. The original tread is 9/32. Now it is March 2019, I have 76,250 miles and the tread is down to 5/32. My car slips and slides when the roads are wet and I live in a part of the country where it rains about 65 inches a year (so the roads seem to be wet all the time). Nexen will not warrant the tires till they are at 2/32 of tread, however I refuse to wait that long as that would be more than dangerous. I figure I will have to replace the tires at my next oil change. I have rotated the tires every 5 to 6,000 miles as recommended, kept the tire pressure at 32psi as recommended (check every month) and the alignment is perfect. The tires have worn evenly but they have worn far to quickly. I don't know what tires I will choose next, although the Continental's have been recommended. I have to wonder if I would do better just to get 30,000 mile tires since that's about all I would get out of them anyway!!
