While driving on the highway at over 60 MPH, the power steering failed. All gauges failed and dash board went dark except for all warning/idiot lights going on. Emergency flashers and turn signals failed to work. Power windows failed to work. Car was still on and driving with steering difficult because power steering failure. I drove the car to a mechanic nearby. On arrival the car could not be put into park. I put it in neutral, put on the emergency brake and turned off the ignition. About 15 minutes later I tried to turn on the car. Everything appeared to work normally again. I went to inform the mechanic. I came back to the car and all problems recurred. When the mechanic later looked at the car he observed no problems. I'm awaiting his diagnosis. We both found it very strange. Any suggestions?
