In Jul2009, I had trouble with the clutch mechanism. I went to GB Auto when my car was 15,686 km, where they replaced the clutch mechanism and I have been charged some of the total cost of the part. I did not receive the Customer Care that I expected from a Hyundai Service Center.
In March 2010, same problem with the clutch mechanism reoccurred and for the second time I went to GB Auto (Kilometers driven by the car was 25,888 km), this time I have met with the workshop manger, who told me "your style of driving is wrong and this caused the clutch problem. However and since the warranty covers this problem, I will replace it again". Several discussions took place between the both of us just to inform him that my main concern was not the defect in the clutch resulting from my way of driving as per his words. Instead, I just wanted to know the real reason behind this recurring defect.
My car now 28,000 km and for the third time I face the same problem, I do not think this is normal for a Hyundai Car that is serviced by a qualified and authorized service center.
