Hyundai claim 60000 mile bumper to bumper warranty plus i purchased extended to 100000 miles. sonata (my first Hyundai) has 50k miles with no problems and was happy enough to purchase this year an Elantra(my last Hyundai), same warranty/ last week i went to the dealer to let them know the trunk for the last couple of months kept opening randomly/ they told me that was covered for 12k miles (i have 13k) i don't go to them any more for service and disconnected the wire so the remote will not work. if i want to open the trunk it is with the key. stupid me, i thought the trunk was between the bumpers
