Well I have driven my Elantra through the entire warranty period without ever a problem; that is until the warranty was about to expire. Right before my warranty expired I took it to the dealership 3 to4 times to resolve my check engine light staying on, they with all their experience and technology could not figure it out! WOW! I am impressed, NOT! Then the whole system bogs down when driving, again did not happen until the warranty ran out. I keep my car serviced regularly. I am the original owner and take care of my vehicle.
Now my paint is peeling off! I have owned 3 Elantra's First time ever I have had any issues; but no one could provide an answer other than we are sorry. Even wrote to the main company about the engine light. No deal, nothing, they were not willing to do to help; just apologized. Will not ever buy another Hyundai. Would love to have the paint fixed, but can't afford that and I am sure they will not do a thing about it. I have paid it off but cannot afford a car payment or I would trade it off.For once I would like to see folks like myself who usually get the short end of the stick, and never complain actually get some help fixing these things especially when it is not our fault.
Update from Nov 17, 2016: What a waste of time with this site. I voice my opinion about this car, and I receive emails of someone's opinion who has nothing better to do that criticize me! Do not send me anymore emails! I could care less of what you think about my circumstances. You must have nothing better to do with your time.
