I have had a 1999 Hyundai Elantra LS since last easter and every time I try to put gas into the car, it takes forever to fill it up because the point of entry fills like it is stopped up and would take 25 minutes to fill it up as it will only hold a dollars worth of gas at a slow pace and then you have to wait at least 45 seconds before it will hold another dollars worth. If you go to fast, it will only take about 8 cents worth at a time.
Does anybody know what it would take to fix or repair properly?
My gas tank makes noises when the car is running. It's holding pressure and so I take the cap off and let out the pressures. It sounds like the gas is boiling!
