I purchased this vehicle brand new. A year into owning it the steering wheel began to "bubble". There is a very cheap plastic coating over the chrome that mattes it....it started bubbling and peeling off. I've had to replace it every two years, 2014, 2016, and now it's happening again. Hyundai says it is not defective and probably caused by weather. My car has always been garaged at home and I have darker than standard tint. It always happens in the same place, the lower part of the steering wheel.
