This car was purchased new July 2012, it has been garage kept, well maintained, and I only have 30,000 miles on the car. This problem should be covered by the extended warranty or a recall. The 2008 Azera had the same problem, they were addressing the problem in 2012, fixing all the dashboards. I feel this is a bad design flaw, and I believe it could be come a dangerous situation - what if the airbag on the passenger side decides to deploy, due to this area splitting open? Do I then have to hire an attorney to sue the manufacturing company? Any suggestions or has anyone else had a problem like this. I don't really have $2600.00 to have this fixed. The part is 1600.00, and labor is $1000.00 according to the Service Manager at Route 60 Hyundai.
