Azera lost accelerator power on freeway at night. Car was still running, but could not accelerate. Coasted off onto side of freeway. Turned off car and back on, Accelerator worked until I tried to accelerate quickly to merge back onto the freeway, then lost all acceleration power again. Extremely dangerous. Turned off car and back on.
Car was fine up to about 30 mph then lost power. Coasted off to side of freeway again. Drove 30 mph to emergency turn around on freeway. Waited until all traffic passed me, then slowly crossed three lanes to emergency turn around. Waited there until all traffic passed, then slowly crossed three more lanes of oncoming traffic to side of freeway headed back home. Tried one more time to carefully accelerate to merge back onto freeway, but vehicle lost power again. Drove 30 mph with flashers on all the way home. Car hasn't moved out of driveway since then. Trying to get an idea of what it will take to repair it.
