Currently I'm having the same electrical problem described by previous complainer. The dashboard lights randomly light up. They take turns. Somedays it’s the tire pressure light. Another day it’s the oil lights or the one that shows you sliding on ice. I plan to take car into dealership since it’s still under factory warranty. I’ll post their actions or lack of.

Accent SE 1.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,922 miles

This is the first time it has happened, I was driving on the interstate at 70 miles per hour when the dash went out and the car lost power. The lights came on as if I was starting the car and then it continued to drive like nothing happened.

Accent 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,100 miles

While driving on the highway, all the instrument lights shut off for a second and then all warning lights come on for just a second. I mean EVERY light on the cluster comes on. When all the lights go back off, the Tripometer and the MPG data is reset to 0. I have two 2017 Accents and both of them have done this once.

Dealer was unable to reproduce the problem and sent me on my way with no fix or info. This happened completely randomly.
