I have used Santro for 8 Years 6 Months and in June 19th I have purchased SX(O) top end model Diesel Version. 1. After using for 2 months I noticed that that there is a noise coming, but it took me nearly one more month to identify from where the noise is coming from. Got it replaced on 7th Nov ( approx). 2. After replacing Steering column, the steering is very hard, specially when you are trying to push the steering on the left side you need to put more pressure from you right hand. I was getting pain on my right hand after complaining about the issue to Talwari Hyundai at Sanathnagar, they acknowledged that there is hardness and replaced with another steering column. This steering is better for 1-2 days and again it is having the same problem, Thanks to Service GM and Service Manager at Talwar Hyundai who have taken at most care in understanding my problem and they kept my Xcent Car for two days and fine tuned. After one day of driving, again the settings in the Steering Column is getting malfunctioned. They replaced MDBS Moteor and Steering Rack as well. But the problem still persists. 3. I was writing mails to Hyundai servie and Sales and given a complaints on their call center. Non of the Hyundai persons from Hyderabad have spoken to me since I was leaving message at their security. 4. After I left 20 odd messages on 23rd Dec I could able to be fortunate enough to get hold Mr. Sreekanth Service Manager. He said he is aware of my steering problem and he is in coordination with plant at Chennai. 5. All this time evenin now, my car is in Talwari Hyundai and I am paying for my daily commuting to office.
I suggest, no one go for Hyundai Products, though Dealers struggle to provide service but they are not the manufacturers. Hats off to Talwar Hyundai Service Team and their Sales Manager Mr. Sudher Reddy for their support otherwise I would have reached consumer forum much before.
I have requested Mr. Sreekanth and Mr. Amarnath Regional Manager for TS & AP) to refund my monay with all interest paid and my cab bills and settled down my mental agonay that I was under going from last 2 months with this issue of steering.
