Hi,
I traded my Getz in for a new Hyundai Accent 2014 model a few months back, what a mistake
Since i have had the car i have had an issue where the car will not change gears it revs up and back down and it keeps doing that until i release the accelerator and let the revs drop and most times that will fix the issue. Its like mostly coming out of roundabouts and corners/take off making it very dangerous as you can not trust the car will take off as it should and you find 2nd questing yourself
I have taken it to Hyundai (local dealer not where i brought the car from), 2 times they said there was nothing wrong with the car. I then spoke to Hyundai where i get the car and they said they will pay for my courtesy car and to leave the car there a few days. The car was with them for a week and they said they were unable to find anything, i went in one day took a mechanic for a drive and the problem occurred while he was in the car. I also have video that i showed them.
Got the car back they said they replaced a few things however never provided me with paperwork of the fault and the work they carried out. A week later same issue. Now i don't know what to do anymore!!!
Apart from this HUGE problem the car is a dream to drive, I had a Holden TRAX with the works as a courtesy car and prefer my Accent.
