I may be exiting a parking lot or have stopped for traffic and step on the gas after I have stopped and I slowly roll out into traffic. There is no gas until I pump the pedal several times. Then it suddenly takes and one of these days I am going to rear end some one or get hit when I am trying to get onto the hi-way or cross traffic. Today I was almost side swiped coming out of a parking lot and turn right and the coming car and I both ended up in the same lane. I do not want to take the car to the San Jose dealer- I don't live here, Don't want to be without a car. This has happened many times. I complained but the intake clerk did not get the message right, The mechanic tested it out on the highway, The mechanic said "nothing wrong".I did not have it tested with me in the car and neither the mechanic nor I had time to do anymore testing and I was leaving town. It drives fine just don't stop and start again.
